FMO Mailing List Rules
First: you have to be a volunteer image reviewer in the Spacewatch FMO Project
in order to subscribe to this mailing list.
In order to keep this mailing list safe and pleasant, we ask you to abide to
a few basic rules on posting nettiquette. Violation of the rules could lead
to a (temporary or permanent) ban from the list.
1. The list's language of conversation is ENGLISH
2. Do not send SPAM.
3. Do not Flame or Troll
4. This is an international list, with people from a very diverse
background. For this reason, we ask you to refrain from posting remarks
on politics or religion, unless it has direct bearing on NEA research.
5. For the same reason, remarks that can be considered racist or derogatory
are prohibited.
6. Attachments are allowed, but we ask you to refrain from sending
attachments that are large files (files > 75 Kb). This because some
subscribers are on dial-up connections. If you have a larger file you want
to share, post it on a web-server and provide a link.
7. Generally, postings should relate to the FMO project and/or asteroid
research. Some off-topic mailing, e.g. on other astronomy activities, is
allowed as this is also a social list, but please put 'OT' as a prefix in
the subject in that case. If the moderator deems your off-topic posts as
excessive or inappropriate, he will inform you and you are kindly asked to
take his suggestion well.
8. Please realize that not all subscribers are native speakers of English.
Allow for that in communications.
